well, he's not a PG so BU might go after him lolFor that reason alone, some on this board are going to really want BU to recruit Perez...
One thing is for sure, from an objective, outsider perspective, I am 100% certain that zero of the teams we HOPE to be competitive with are going to be all that worried about a 6'6 Power Forward that played 17 MPG as a Freshman and averaged 3.3 points without making a three and shot 38.7 % from the line while chipping in 2.2 assists per game walking into the 2023-24 season as the Illini's starting point guard.
We won't know how it'll go until it happens but I am comfortably taking the under. Every Sophomore in the country is "in the weight room", "watching film" and practicing. That doesn't make them great choices to be the starting point guard on a team that has actual aspirations. It'd be nice if BU knows something we don't but I'm long passed the point of blind optimism and trusting Underwood for Underwood's sake. It's a zero-sum game and everybody can't be a winner.
not sure any other coach is going to want to take Jose Perez and the coach risk losing their job.
How tied is Morez with BU? As in if everything goes wrong with BU, do we need to be on life alert with Morez watch?Morez … 5 ️ …

seen it suggested that Morez is more closely associated with TA.How tied is Morez with BU? As in if everything goes wrong with BU, do we need to be on life alert with Morez watch?
I had a nightmare about this.
He’d need to show that he has potential to stretch the floor with his shooting. Plenty of great bigs went undrafted the past couple of years. So is Morez projecting to be a one and done type talent? Or perhaps more importantly, does he have one and done expectations?
Seems like the type of talent that could get drafted based on potential alone.

Expectations for himself are anyone's guess. I would find it a bit unlikely to see him be a 1 and Done at this stage. So is Morez projecting to be a one and done type talent? Or perhaps more importantly, does he have one and done expectations?

Soooo…TA is happy and content right?TA is the to Morez …
I felt like an insider for a momentseen it suggested that Morez is more closely associated with TA.
But can he play point?
