Can we please just blow these guys out by half? I have to go to the Montini/Naz game, which should be a good one, but I'm not going to enjoy myself knowing I'm missing the orange and blue. It also a blackout game at Montini..I will not be in black. I will not be giving any juju to KU.
How many Westerkamps on the Montini team?

So are you telling me. a touch down every drive is cool mediocrity? that is at 3.5 yards a carry. 3 straight carries is at the average is a first down everytime. Now if you are referring to his actually average per carry in the Toledo game. That isn't 3.5 yards a carry it was 2.73 yards a carry. If he averages that then we will be mediocre. But the goal is to keep the chains moving. So if we average 3.5 yards gained a play. We will score a lot of points.

But that is just my opinion using the actual numbers not emotion. I played QB. I know our OCs goal outside of scoring on every play was to try to average more than 3.5 yards a play for this excate arguement. Don't worry about the big play all the time, the goal was to take care of the ball, to move the ball and get first downs. The rest will take care of itself.
Anybody want to tell him how averages work?

Alright y’all time to just give y’all a dose of reality here:

Kansas sucks, okay? They beat up on an FCS team. We squeezed out a win against a team that maybe loses one more game all year. They had more AP votes than we did going into week 1. They’re good.

Missouri State isn’t even ranked (or receiving votes) in the FCS. We would have beat the hell out of MoState too!

KU’s defense is not good, and our offense is gonna have their way with them. Even if the DL doesn’t get better, we’re gonna give them the business.

We may suck, but we don’t suck as bad as Kansas.

Illinois 41 - Kansas 13

Yikes! We really fall flat on those road openers.

Decent take by Robert, but I do want to have a conversation with the commenter who thinks LA is throwing 3 picks tonight.
Their defense should take the experience jump, just because they got so many guys back from what’s been said here.

Unless they start disguising coverages like belichek, I don’t see it. I think BB wants to throw more than he did in his early career, but I feel like he’s always gonna test a teams run defense first to see just how much.

Scott's pick six last week has to be a source of encouragement for the D this week. Can't wait to see how many turnovers they get this week.

I hope we go storm trooper unis tonight. Though O/W/O will contrast nicely to their all black.

But there’s just something about our all white look.

Do we even have white helmets with this new design, though? They certainly weren't in any photos. As I said, I would GENERALLY prefer to stick to a "tight" set of uniforms and have a consistent look, but I will admit that a white helmet with an orange Block I (and navy outline) and a B/O/B stripe could look mighty fine...
