I don't understand. We move the ball through the air when we go up tempo. Why are we not just doing that all the time???? The ground and pound from the shotgun just isn't working and yet we try the same thing, every week, expecting a different result.

We are very fortunate that we are not 1-5 or 0-6. Our record is now 0-6 against the spread by an avg of 12.4 pts per game. We are almost 2 TD's a game deficient of expectations across every damn game. Unmitigated disaster.
Time to make some cuts. 1st to exit needs to be Lunney IMO. Not sure who takes his role, but at this point it doesn't really matter, there is no way we could underperform on O worse with a rando from the crowd calling the plays.

I thought Lunney made a lot of questionable play calls last year. What success we had on offense last year had very little to do with him. Tommy and Chase helped make up for his deficiencies.
Not to say I'm defending the football product, but there is a big difference between the mike Thomas basketball numbers and Whitman basketball accolades.

The worst 20-7 football game I've ever seen. Almost four hours to play it. Just bad, not smart football played by both teams.

It’s had to make changes mid season. Don’t think I’d expect that. I’d expect some on the off season though.
The OL is a major problem, you can’t get an inch? Idc if it’s from shot gun or not.(also don’t think it’s Barts fault)

True but I imagine Bret is also incredibly unhappy with things like, Reggie Lovie loses 9 and gets hurt because of OL just utterly getting blown off the ball, and then calling a jet sweep to Isaiah for another loss.
Seems to me like we should be avoiding plays that go sideways until we learn to go forwards. That was a real headscratcher.
