I don't know if this is actually Ty, but I found this in the chat to be very interesting...

The only question that he kind of dodged, maybe I misheard his answer, did what TSJ told them when they verbally met about the complaint line up with the version in the filing?

Basically was TSJ fully honest?
I don’t think we’ll ever get info on this one way or another. Benefits no one in the situation.

I'm guessing the first question was Steve Kelly based on the voice. He had the proper question that JW didn't really answer. How much did TJ tell you and how much did it line up with the charging document?
This was a good question but it was not really answered. If what TSJ told him was accurate, transpRted and truthful then he like me was shocked that TSJ was charged at all much less with Rape "according to Kansas l
aw". Otherwise he would have triggered the committee sooner.

I understand 0 tolerance on sexual assault but what happened to innocent until proven guilty? I personally don't feel anyone should be penalized until things have been resolved in court one way or the other unless there is irrefutable evidence showing the accused persons guilt.

Can someone give me the rundown on what this consisted of. I couldn't keep reading about tsj.

This is something I've been wondering as well. Best I can come up with is that it takes time to get in front of a judge to make the case for a warrant. Idk if 3 weeks is a normal time frame, so maybe some of the attorneys on this sub can chime in. There is also the apparent icy relationship between the Douglas County DA and local judges, so maybe that played some role in the delay in issuing a warrant... pure speculation obviously.. crazy times.
The charge was filed 12/5, the warrant for the arrest was issued Wednesday. Charging =\= warrant. That’s what I picked up from this presser

Yeah, but there’s no way he’s answering that. The guy is a lawyer, and that could literally be used as evidence, right?

So we know the incident happened in a bar. That lines up with the speculation from that first text/tweet. Whether the “football player” story is true is still to be determined, but at least it hasn’t been debunked at this point.

Another poster related a scoop saying the accuser wanted a relationship but TSJ ghosted her. If there is indeed “electronic communications” — presumably texts — that would likely favor TSJs story. If it’s true he apologized to her, that could be problematic for him, depending on the nature of the apology. Saying “I’m sorry I’m not interested in you” is one thing, but if he said something like “I’m sorry I pushed forward when you resisted,” that would be damning. But if she was seeking a relationship, that apology would seemingly be unlikely.

But again, it’s all just speculation at this point.

If the DIA panel reinstates him to play, everyone be ready for us to be the villain in national and regional media. Every miscue, loss, away game, will be terrible for this team.

Even if he is fully exonerated, it will be used as a way to pick at and grind this team down. Winning will only be because Illinois allows rapists to play on their team and if we lose it will be because TJ and the team are cracking under the pressure.

The Dan Bernstein's of the world will love it. If TJ is found guilty, the backlash will be unending. If he's guilty, he deserves whatever punishment comes his way.
