Never at any point did I think CoHawk was an NBA level player. Good college player, can be very effective on a team with the right mix of players. Has a future overseas somewhere. Will likely never be a star anywhere. If he goes to Europe and makes good money playing there for 10 yrs he can be set for life if he has common sense. Nothing wrong with that.

Am I wrong in thinking that Coleman has the right of way? I get that the game is over and all that, but the LSU player clearly tries to prevent Coleman from continuing his movement towards the player with the ball. Coleman at that point has momentum, and the guy flips around and bashes into his path so Coleman braces himself.
It’s a weird play, given the time of the game. LSU is clearly dribbling out the clock and KSU is obviously conceding. Then Coleman points and begins running at full speed in the direction of the player with the ball. An LSU player then blocks his path and is rightly called for a foul. Not sure what Coleman saw or why he would begin the full speed dart, but it certainly wasn’t normal in that situation.

Both Coleman and Dain looking pretty pedestrian after first several non-conference games. Still early but glad to see them getting some coin and playing time. At same time we don’t have to look too hard in the rear view mirror. Some great things in store for Illlini front court.

I loved RJ, I think most of us did. He was maybe one of the players who left in the past 5 years I was most saddened by. I don't remember the exact circumstances at the time. I just know I didn't like it. I hope he has a fantastic year! I think this is probably his last???

Does this dunk by RJ brings back any flashback …..
I don't know if it's a work ethic thing or something but I always thought RJ had such a high ceiling that he's never lived up to.

He's got NBA caliber size and athleticism he just can't put it together consistently. His jumper looks solid but he can't consistently shoot but yet there's flashes of him being a college star like when he dropped 35 on Florida last year.

I feel like he had the ability to be a defensive stopper while being a slasher on offense that can knock down open shots and make a living in transition but he has just bounced around college basketball as a bench guy/role player.

Paraphrasing Jerry Maguire, It's like popcorn in a pan, some pop, some don't.

I just can't believe how WV has fallen. Both of these players appear to have taken a step back. 5 fouls in 12 minutes? And they're both starting?
The Hansberry hype was real. He looked like he could be such a promising small-ball 5. Still early in his career and could certainly improve but dang...he shot 40% from 3 in high school and that hasn't translated at all (27%) and the dude hasn't figured out how to defend without hacking
