So did we just throw the playbook in the garbage?

I have so much confidence in JW and understand that his experience and intelligence infinitely outweigh my armchair takes. That's the only reason I'm not completely losing it. Lovie did have Myles on staff as an actual AC for 3 years before he got fired. I just really hope the Tyler experiment doesn't drag on that long.

Fact of the matter is this for me … I have more confidence in Josh to go find a better coach than I do in Brad to fix this 💩

I've been thinking about this for 6 months or so: some coaches are re-builders. Some take a rebuilt program to the Final Four.

You see it all the time in the NBA. You see it all the time in business.

Is Brad a re-builder but not the guy to take a rebuilt-team up to the next level of the Final Four? I think that is something for Josh Whitman to think about.

Want Brad gone but also would be very sad to see Morez leave.

What behind the scenes stuff is going on, not directly related to the players would push him to look elsewhere?

Technically, he wouldn't have to bring any players back, but there has to be other factors in play, right?

Sean Miller or Chris Beard with top NIL, top facility, and a top AD here is not a bad combination.

@Indy Illini Fan Whether all this Brad talk is frustration or truly a prospect and probability ... if indeed true after all, Chris Beard should be the top name (IMO at least).

I’ve been saying the same thing for weeks my friend …

I want Beard …

What happens if this team loses out ??? People say no way Josh pays the buyout … We lose out and don’t make tourney ??? It’ll get interesting …

You'd prefer beard over Miller and Wade? I don't know ball im just curious

Loses out ... Iowa is poor, so losing to them in Champaign seems mighty unlikely. But, losing as many games as we do creates a losing mentality, so I guess losing to Iowa has become a risk. Losing at Michigan? Very likely. Losing at home to Purdue? After tonight's disaster, that seems likelier than it already seemed.

I don't care how sick the team is/was. That happened near the start of January. Zero excuse for this much talent to be this bad for this long. None.

I’m glad Brad brought us back to relevance.

However, I’d much rather have everyone move on now instead of waiting for things to possibly get worse in another year or two. If Beard is as good as most people think, don’t let him go anywhere else because you won’t get him if you wait.

He has more experience and success i guess i just dont like him as a person, hes a bad human
