I REALLY like where we sit with Rankin and Anderson …

People aren’t giving us enough credit with Sutter … Think it’s us or Bama as of today …

Riordan is us or Iowa and we’ve made up SIGNIFICANT ground …

I also like where we sit with Cameron McHaney & Micah Smith … Bret LOVES Vero Beach … IYKYK … 😎

Thomann has more P4 offers than any 2021 Illinois recruit and more than every 2022 signee besides Jared Badie, but in the 2025 class he is 6th out of 10 (so far).

Date to Reach 10 Commits under Bielema:
2022: June 23
2023: June 23
2024: June 21
2025: June 26
2026: March 4

It's irrational but beyond the Rankin/Anderson/Sutter triumphant, I care the most about Messiah. Keep him away from Fleck.

We've joked about locking down the state and what that would do for the program (if that was possible), but what Bielema has been able to do for down-state talent has been incredible. Either those prospects come to Illinois or it goes down to the absolute wire.

You can see a bit of a bump after our last good season, then a bit of a regression after the disappointing season that followed, and now a huge bump after a 10 win season.

Can you imagine what kind of bump we'll get if we can have a second successful season in a row? A second 10-win season in a row?
