Amazing how WBB recruiting is the same as it was 30 years ago. Everything hush hush till on campus then an announcement.

ESPN rated the top ten portal classes. Illini were named as one of the 3 honorable mentions. In fact they were the 1st mentioned. I think that says a lot for Maddy Webber and Aaliyah Guyton.

Unlike some, I don’t get worked up when a recruit tweets Illinois University. Sloppy by the kid, but not the end of the world. I’d be curious though about what is the commitment percentage across all sports for recruits who say Illinois University.

Manuella Alves is playing right now on ESPN for the Brazilian National Team vs. the Indiana Fever in Iowa City. Brazil is no match for the Fever, of course.
