This kid has tools. Built like a LB but has QB speed. Can make all the throws especially deep out routs with precision. Not sure if Lunney will be here when he does but Art will be. We are recruiting big time.
Lopati definitely sounds like a name that suits up for Oregon, Washington, or Utah.

(1) Getting a top-16 QB in 2027 is one heck of a class starter
(2) I wonder if the House Settlement is going to make QB recruitment timelines accelerate even faster
(3) This substantially softens the blow from losing out on Trae and not being very involved in Israel Abrams

As someone who played against former Illini and NY Jets lineman JP Machado in high school, I distinctly understand the feeling #22 in white is experiencing in this photo when he recognizes that a player of Cameron Wagner's size and athletic ability has identified him as his next blocking target.
It is NOT a fun feeling.
