TN Lost 4 all conference starters for game. Illini lost 2 all conf starters Gabe Jacas DL All B10 first team, JC Davis OL All B10 first team

Flip side is who is playing for TN
QB1, RB1, RB2, WR2, WR3
DL2, DL3 DL4, LB2, LB3

Eye test says TN was better team during season losing to CFP Georgia (3 pts) and Oklahoma (6 pts). Bama (17). Also playing at home.
But they have more opt outs.

Illini got destroyed by CFP Indiana (53) OSU not close (20 pts)
Brazzell’s out, but their offense is still very, very good. They can run the ball effectively with their two backs: Bishop and Star Thomas. Despite Brazzell being out, they still have two other receivers with 770 and 806 yards on the year: Matthews and Staley.

Their defense however may be just as bad as ours, if not worse with all their opt outs. We should absolutely put up points.

I don’t see us winning this game if we don’t score at minimum 40+ (fairly possible). Also have to be able to run the ball, control clock and keep their offense off the field. Against USC we punted just once — need a similar output from the offense minus the endzone turnovers.

I don’t see ANY way our defense stops them. But if we have an offensive performance like USC - minus the turnovers - we definitely have a shot. Luke’s a darn good QB.

Any word on parking? Not seeing anything in my emails about it being included with the tickets or what the cost is.

Since 2001 my favorite all time Illini has been Kurt Kittner. Luke is a solid #2 now. Kurt still gets the nod cause of the BIG title. Both kinda similar guys. Probably not NFL studs but real good college QB's and great lead by example types. Everything that is right with college sports in an era where little is right with college sports.

And for old times sake, still got to shout out Rocky Harvey. He was my 2 pre Luke. I'll call him 2a now. Loved that little guy toting the rock.
where is freshman year dudek?
