Not the worst. Although, I hate that we'd be in Duke's section. Can you imagine a Missouri/Illinois game in St. Louis for a trip to the S16?

Brackets and seedings are pretty much done….With Vandy and Purdue wins, our 3 seed could be in jeapardy.
Nebraska, Vandy, Illinois, Zags, Purdue, MSU fighting for 3 seeds now and one 2 seed. 6 teams, 5 spots (#8-12).
Sure. Let’s just ignore Purdue beating two NCAA tourney bound teams.Brackets and seedings are pretty much done….![]()
There’s literally zero reason Nebraska should be below Illinois. Can say the same for a few of those. With Vandy and Purdue wins, our 3 seed could be in jeapardy.

Literally would be so epic.Current Bracketology on ESPN:

These seasons aren't 2 games long. There isn't much that's going to change a ton. Illinois being a 3 seed is pretty much a forgone conclusion. With Vandy and Purdue wins, our 3 seed could be in jeapardy.

Nebraska will not have a better seed than Illinois. They started 20-0 and got curb stomped in two of their last three. There’s literally zero reason Nebraska should be below Illinois. Can say the same for a few of those.
Trended in the WRONG direction since the Purdue and Nebraska wins. Haven’t beaten a tourney team in a month +.There’s literally zero reason Nebraska should be below Illinois. Can say the same for a few of those.
I know your probably not going to like what I’m going to say here but there is very little weight put on the conference tourney’s or none at all…Winning a title should be the goal for every team but the committee doesn’t put too much stock into the conference tourney’s. The bubble teams take it seriously obviously because they want to make it but other than that….Sure. Let’s just ignore Purdue beating two NCAA tourney bound teams.
We have no right to complain if we fall to a 4 seed line. Purdue has a better resume than us. As does MSU. We’re probably only ahead of Nebraska.
Are we ahead of Gonzaga? I don’t know.
Happy to be wrong.I know your probably not going to like what I’m going to say here but there is very little weight put on the conference tourney’s or none at all…Winning a title should be the goal for every team but the committee doesn’t put too much stock on the conference tourney’s. Mistake!Nebraska will not have a better seed than Illinois. They started 20-0 and got curb stomped in two of their last three.
Yes and we haven’t beaten a tourney team in a month +. We’re below .500 during that time. These seasons aren't 2 games long. There isn't much that's going to change a ton. Illinois being a 3 seed is pretty much a forgone conclusion.
Will concede Purdue win aged well this weekend. And the Wisky and UCLA losses were dampened. Our worst loss being UCLA is definitely nice.Yes and we haven’t beaten a tourney team in a month +. We’re below .500 during that time.
That’s a large enough data patch.
I believe it’s been proven time and time again that the conference tournaments do, in fact, get weighed into decision-making. Especially seeding between close-resume teams.I know your probably not going to like what I’m going to say here but there is very little weight put on the conference tourney’s or none at all…Winning a title should be the goal for every team but the committee doesn’t put too much stock into the conference tourney’s. Had we won yesterday we'd be a 2 seed. So, if we end up a 3, the BIG tournament is important to the committee.I know your probably not going to like what I’m going to say here but there is very little weight put on the conference tourney’s or none at all…Winning a title should be the goal for every team but the committee doesn’t put too much stock into the conference tourney’s. Happy to be wrong.
But teams have just cases over us for a 3 seed now.
Purdue getting a Q1A win on Friday matters. Getting another Q1/tourney team win today matters.
Seeding will be impacted. Feel free to think otherwise.
Come back tomorrow….I believe it’s been proven time and time again that the conference tournaments do, in fact, get weighed into decision-making. Especially seeding between close-resume teams.

What happens if Virginia beats Duke?Put the 4 seed talk to bed. It’s not happening.
I’m not even sure what this is in reference to, anymore. I fall into the “Illinois will likely be a 3 seed, and a high one at that” camp. Are you agreeing or disagreeing?Come back tomorrow….![]()
So Purdue is now a 3. As is Gonzaga. As is Vandy.Come back tomorrow….![]()
