With Vandy and Purdue wins, our 3 seed could be in jeapardy.

Nebraska, Vandy, Illinois, Zags, Purdue, MSU fighting for 3 seeds now and one 2 seed. 6 teams, 5 spots (#8-12).

Brackets and seedings are pretty much done….😉
Sure. Let’s just ignore Purdue beating two NCAA tourney bound teams.

We have no right to complain if we fall to a 4 seed line. Purdue has a better resume than us. As does MSU. We’re probably only ahead of Nebraska.

Are we ahead of Gonzaga? I don’t know.

There’s literally zero reason Nebraska should be below Illinois. Can say the same for a few of those.
Trended in the WRONG direction since the Purdue and Nebraska wins. Haven’t beaten a tourney team in a month +.

Sucks to suck.

Welcome to a 4/5 game in a week and losing to a more athletic team. If we miraculously survive, get destroyed by one of Duke/Zona/UConn.

Just watched PURDUE......wow, we used to be a better team than these guys......They are impressive..

I know your probably not going to like what I’m going to say here but there is very little weight put on the conference tourney’s or none at all…Winning a title should be the goal for every team but the committee doesn’t put too much stock into the conference tourney’s. The bubble teams take it seriously obviously because they want to make it but other than that….😉

Happy to be wrong.

But teams have just cases over us for a 3 seed now.

Purdue getting a Q1A win on Friday matters. Getting another Q1/tourney team win today matters.

Seeding will be impacted. Feel free to think otherwise.

Yes and we haven’t beaten a tourney team in a month +. We’re below .500 during that time.

That’s a large enough data patch.
Will concede Purdue win aged well this weekend. And the Wisky and UCLA losses were dampened. Our worst loss being UCLA is definitely nice.

But what a what if season. Single possessions in regulation from being in the convo for a 1 seed.

I believe it’s been proven time and time again that the conference tournaments do, in fact, get weighed into decision-making. Especially seeding between close-resume teams.

Edit: forgot to add 😉

Had we won yesterday we'd be a 2 seed. So, if we end up a 3, the BIG tournament is important to the committee.

So would our ideal bracket (assuming we're a 3) have Iowa St as our 2, and UConn (overreaction to FL's bad loss today) as our 1?

Deja vu

He loves the 😉 emoji. Makes him feel that oh so delectable intellectual superiority. The Dunning Kruger effect that’s oh so prevalent on the internet.
