I'll earn that cred shortly...by Fall 2025 Jeremiah will be an absolute monster. He's already the leading scorer on a Top10 national prep high school, but his game is improving rapidly and more importantly his strength/athleticism are really starting to show. Can easily dunk and almost windmill...
LOL I know I have no cred here but I’ve lurked for decades. I know the family. Jeremiah will commit to Illinois, and it will happen sooner than later. They’re working out the details now
Jeremiah will not reclass to '24. Everything still on track for IL in '25, and the family is deciding if he will commit in January or not. TBD. Will likely stay at AZ Compass next season though OTE is in hot pursuit, and is an option. Jeremy Jr. has no interest in transferring from MSU and the...
Hence the verbal commit. The staff wasn't ready to accept his commitment and chose Skyy over him. Then he skated over to MSU and collected an even bigger bag than what IL would've given him.
Jeremy Fears Jr. was a verbal commit to IL when Skyy committed, and that was all he needed to switch to MSU. FWIW, we lost Podz 2 days after the Skyy commitment as well.
My bad, you're right. Those 2 games, one of which against Cooper Flagg and Montverde, are probably indicative of his overall shooting ability and a strong predictor of the rest of his basketball career. We should hang it up now and move on to a lower ranked player. He was also barely a Top100...
LMAO. Tim Anderson compares Fears to Kyrie. I think he's a better shooter. He'll do fine in college in '24 or '25 but the family is being thoughtful about the reclass. They have not made up their mind yet, and will decide in the next 2-3 months. Academics are annoying/manageable but really the...
If he stays in '25 the ONLY school that could shake him would be Kentucky. He grew up loving Kentucky and liking Illinois. But generally speaking, I'd say listen to the usual suspects. If it's '24, then ILL
I-L-L. Jeremy Fears Sr is currently sitting next to Morez on a flight home from Colorado Springs. Apparently he (Morez) strained his groin pretty badly so will be sitting for a few weeks
I've watched him up close & personal a few times and he's the real deal. In the gym range, elite pace/hesitation, creative finisher, ambidextrous, super quick twitch athlete. I've talked to more than a few NBA guys who are already salivating
Fears will be an Illini. Pops wanted Jeremy Jr. to be in orange & blue too. He’ll play the game for a little longer to pad the resume but it’s happening. And it’s fantastic. He’s REALLY REALLY good. Probably a 2 & out guy. Maybe lottery pick
