Jeremiah will not reclass to '24. Everything still on track for IL in '25, and the family is deciding if he will commit in January or not. TBD. Will likely stay at AZ Compass next season though OTE is in hot pursuit, and is an option. Jeremy Jr. has no interest in transferring from MSU and the family hasn't even entertained the thought.

Will the national championship do? Whiz Kids led by national player of the year Andy Phillip in 1943.
It certainly would. However, if we were to win the national championship, who was our point guard?

In a hearing Wednesday, Judge John P. Bailey issued a 14-day temporary restraining order preventing the NCAA from enforcing its transfer rules, paving the way for a host of second-time transfers that had been originally forced to sit out a season to be eligible, at least in the interim

In the long term, the implications of courts preventing the NCAA from enforcing transfer rules would drive even more action in the portal. The tighter rules for second-time transfers were put into effect this year at the request of the schools, which were frustrated by the near-constant roster movement that had taken over college sports in recent years. The hope among many in the industry was that tighter rules, combined with the bonus year of eligibility tied to the COVID-19 pandemic phasing out, would slow down player movement to more manageable rates and provide some stability. A loss in this case would hinder the association’s ability to prevent what it called a “system of perpetual and unchecked free agency” and would shape how college sports rosters are built for years to come

What's intriguing about all of these rulings is that it strips away the ability of the NCAA to enforce rules. It'll be interesting what's going to happen when a player sues the NCAA for "only allowing 4 years of eligibility" or for losing eligibility by signing with an agent. From a legal standpoint, it makes one wonder, does the NCAA have the ability to regulate, well, just about anything?

Jaylon Tate?

Te'Jon Lucas?

Tracy Abrams?
Jodie Harrison shot 60%, averaged 10.6 points, 4 rbs, and lots of assists in 1969. Team was 19-5, second in BT, ranked 20th in final AP poll.

Tony Y averaged 11.3 ppg, and 6.4 apg for the 11th ranked 1987 Illini.

Not on the same level as Andy Phillip, Deron, Dee, Harper, Frankie, Garris, Brody, etc. but they were very good point guards.
