Not this guy. Iowa State is clicking right now. I think they're one of the teams who could make a surprising deep run. They already beat Kansas once. At KU no less.

He also took Hoiberg's players and made them better. Beside Illinois, they're my favorite team to watch. I've even been to Hilton for a game each of the past 2 years. The way he uses Morris and Burton (and Niang before him) is so fun to watch.

I LOVE this guy. I have no reason to believe he'd leave ISU, but I'd be beyond thrilled if Whitman pulled that one odd. The guy can coach and has proven a very capable recruiter.

I'd say that's highly likely. Whitman and Groce obviously like each other as have a lot of respect for each other. So why not do the presser together. Let Groce say his final goodbyes/thanks to the team and fans. I think it'd be very classy.

Exactly. The team is flying back to Champaign today. He doesn't want to release a statement firing Groce before he can get back home. That's my opinion at least.

I agree. I don't think Malcolm is the type to just quit. I think he'd want to play as many games in orange and blue as possible. And, if that's the case, I'll watch all of those games too.

Only if that's what the team wants. If they don't feel like playing in an also-ran tournament after a long, tough, disappointing season, I wouldn't blame them.
