If Ty doesn’t start then it’s solely on him. Great defense, rebounder, and hustle, but a D1 player that can’t or won’t take a jump shot shouldn’t be a starter On a top 10 caliber team. I hope he works on that because he has the rest of the package.
I do not know what Bill Raftery says every game after the tip, but it sounds cartoonish. I’ve always liked Raftery, but please do not become Dick Vitale.
It bothers me that all of the coaches in college basketball have put in the time and effort to build their careers, and then there’s Scheyer, who is handed one of the top jobs in college basketball after a couple of years as an AC.
