I wouldn't be shocked to see Dee end up at Valpo if the Rev gets the HC gig.
He didn't get the gig Matt Lottich did.

I am for it because it gets the carousel spinning. Maybe this allows Dee to get on staff.

Georgia Tech and Memphis coach Josh Pastner are in discussions, a source told @CBSSports.
Charlie Moore anybody.
Why on earth would GT think Pastner would be a good hire?
Definitely!
Interesting reading Jeff Goodman's twitter timeline. Wichita State fans thinking Marshall would never leave except for Duke and Goodman and Snow telling them Memphis is a much better job than anything he's been offered in the past.

Memphis isn't much of a step up if at all from Wichita State, just due to the conference situation. I would be flabbergasted if Marshall took that job.
Memphis is a step up from Wichita State. Hometown of Elvis, the legendary Sun Studios, some dang good BBQ and the Grizzlies. None of those which Wichita State has.Memphis isn't much of a step up if at all from Wichita State, just due to the conference situation. I would be flabbergasted if Marshall took that job.
Is Wright st a step up from Evansville? Surprised to see Marty Simmons mentioned.
Wait.. you're being serious right now?
Deadly. The AAC is a one-way ticket to nowhere.

The money, the resources everything Memphis has makes that a spectacular job.
I think Kevin Ollie might disagree with that. Cronin just turned down a gig to stay there.
Mick Cronin almost left his alma mater to go to a mid-major job. Kevin Ollie is among the point people in UConn's desperate campaign for one of the coming seats in the Big XII.
I agree. The AAC probably will not last past the Big 12's expansion back to 12.
I'm still utterly amazed the Big 12 passed over Louisville the same time it took West Virginia. The Big 12 has got to be kicking themselves over that one. Add Louisville and Cincy and you have a nice, relatively geographically concise northern division. Now, they're eventually going to be shoe-horning a UConn or BYU or something into their mishmash of a conference.
I like pizza, but his....eh....not bad, but could be better.WVU was a bit of an odd choice, but there were no home runs available. Louisville is a provincial school, and a basketball focused one at that. Tom Jurich and Papa John are both giant figures, but that underlying reality is unlikely to change too dramatically.
