Both rounds were played yesterday, final round is this morning. Still anyone's tournament to win. Top 4 have a huge head start over the rest of the field, of course.

Back on the winning track, Illini take the Augusta title over a strong field. 
Illini close out the win by 3 over Texas! Danielson was T2, Detry T4, Hardy and Meyers T16. Lipparelli played pretty well, finishing T41 due to a rough first round.

Illini built a big lead yesterday at the Boilermaker Invitational and coasted to another win. Charlie Danielson was low individual and Nick Hardy finished 2nd. Next up is the Big Ten Championships starting Friday.
Illini recruit had a good weekend, too.

In first place nearing the end of Day 1. Hardy was off but the rest of the guys were solid. There is definitely room for improvement.
They can go lower for sure. That said, if they shoot -9 two more times they will win by 20.

They need to be more consistent to take down the likes of Texas and Florida State in match play. But first onto Regionals.
FSU is not much of a threat any more as their top player turned pro. But USC, Georgia and Stanford are all pretty good in addition to Texas. As we learned last year, it's nearly a coin flip as to which team wins in match play once you get there. I think the key for Illinois is Hardy continuing his good play and Lipparelli being able to hold his own at the 5th spot.
