If by big we mean someone who belongs at the 5, then getting "two more" would put our total at precisely two. Finke and Black both belong at the 4. HCBU may devise systems in which they wind up at the 5, but that is not a natural position for either one of them.

Could not disagree more. Neither black or Finke belong at the 4 in BU's system. 1-4 all need full guard skills which neither of them have.

I think ballislife is partially right. It's pretty clear that BU is okay with a guy like Finke or Black at the 5. BU did seem pretty enamored with Black during his interview with Baker so I think he could play some 4. With no one else joining the team, Black may not play the 4 often as he will have to split time with Finke.

The bigs we traditionally went after don't seem desired by BU meaning the Morgan and Bo types. They are going to need to be able to move and/or be skilled.

Word online and in Chicago is that Illinois will end up with a big that committed to UIC. I don't even know his name, just that he was a UIC commit. Another name that is out there is Jericho Sims.
I hate quoting myself, after quoting others, but this former UIC commit is on campus.

I can't see us having a play for him. Have been no rumblings and he's getting some big attention.

Not a big surprise that he is getting a lot of attention from good programs. He is one of the best grad transfers.

Coleby almost certainly will not be going to a P5 school and he will most likely stay in the South. He is living in Louisiana right now with friends that are basically family since he is from the Bahamas... He just visited UL-Monroe and has a visist this weekend at Arkansas-Little Rock. BU's old stomping grounds S.F.A is also up there. UI has been mentioned along with other bigs like GT and Creighton, but this guy is staying small and in the South. I think WKU, ARK-LR and ULM are his heavy leaners right now with ULM only really being a major consideration because of his support group close by. ARK-LR almost made the Sweet 16 a year back and WKU obviously has some pedigree from past seasons. Should be an interesting race to watch even if we aren't truly in the running.

Close to home, room with a friend. He's not going to NBA. Gonna enjoy college?

You can do all that someplace else for free on scholarship. I guess if ISU is your dream school or something like that, fine. Maybe there is a promise of a scholarship somewhere down the line.

maybe he just wanted out of where he was, and with having to sit out any how, now if he can get healthy he could decide next year to move again and not worry about getting out of anything. He will be free to just do what ever he wants without any ties

Some families have money and a scholarship doesn't really matter much to them.

Good. It is the right move.

I don't think it would have been a bad move if we had blocked him from transferring within conference, but considering he is most likely going to end up at DePaul I don't think it will matter. Let him go to DePaul, that is actually a punishment in and of itself.

I would guess Butler or Notre Dame have a stronger chance at landing him, even knowing the DePaul/LaLu connection.

Bryan Trimble, a 2017 signee to Florida State, has received his release; one of the better available wing prospects this spring

Underwood offered him at OSU, so he must fit the schematics.

I cant see us adding any more 2017 guys unless they are bigger then 6-7, I think if we do add anyone they will be 5th guys. I think the staff really wants at least 3 ships for 19
