Fun contemplation. Number of OSU players ranked higher in 247 in this year's class (2018) that won't be drafted higher Sydney Brown at #66. Sydney Brown was #1598. Start typing that list and your fingers will bleed. Then, do 'Spoon & Quan.

With the 56th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select Tyrique Stevenson, CB, Miami (FL).
I CAN'T believe that the Bears picked a mediocre Db from Miami (Pick was rated C) and left John Michael Schmits The center for Minnesota to the next pick!
He was exactly what they needed to anchor their offensive line for the next ten years. He is a brute who moves well and is praised for his leadership. His pick was rated A!
What were they thinking????? Oh yeah...its the Bears ...

I had to poke some fun at you bro.....all in good fun as I know how you feel about the scum.........

I second the praise for Quan and Syd...........Hope Chase goes tonight also.............

Ha! I've been throwin' shade at the Meowboys for a decade. Drove my brother nuts!
I'm an OG 'Boys fan instead of all these bandwagoners from the 90's. I've had enough of Jerryjone. If he'd left Jimmy Johnson alone to do his thing...we'd be talking about Jimmy like Belichick.

He's almost ruined my NFL fandom along with Goodell and all the rule changes. Watching games now is so painful.

Pretty sure they've already got Whitehair to play center and they feel pretty comfortable with him. Besides, center is not the biggest need they have along the o-line.

Whitehair is well WELL past his prime. He has played poorly the past few years and was injured...again...last year. Plus they can cut him and save 11 million. Schmitz is viewed as a ten year starter in the nfl. Where else do they have needs along the O-line? They signed a guard ,drafted a tackle, and have reasonable holdovers at right guard and left tackle. What they REALLY needed IS a center--at least that is what they have been saying. One falls into their lap and they draft a poor-performing cb. There must have been something they didn't like about the center, but they will rue this pick.

Thoughts after Day 2?
Loved where the Illini were picked! However feel that the Bears missed on a potential pro bowler at a position of need (center) and chose an iffy cb. Under-impressed with their day two selections, as the DTs were both under performers during their college days. Hope they work out! But were they the best players available?

Neither were Jerry‘s picks. Quinn wanted the run stopping DL, but McCarthy wanted the TE from ND. McCarthy picked the TE in the second round. Quinn got the Texas Swiss Army Knife in the third. I bet we look to a RB or OL in the 4th round.

That's cool. My sentiments on Jerryjone aren't related to the picks.

One of the DTs will be the 3 technique the team has been looking for. The corner they drafted could be the potential replacement for Jaylon Johnson, who is a UFA after this season.
