BTT is a complete afterthought if there are COVID. Purdue twitter account posted it from Indy. Referencing the later rounds. If there are any COVID issues at the B1G tourney I'm 100% agreed with bowing out now.

So dumb to have had bars open in Indy last several weeks and people allowed in. The least bubbly bubble of all timeMy concern, after how quickly things deteriorated last year, that the tournament will be in peril as a whole.
I would guess the banner comment came from the crowd. Doesn't sound like a mid game coach jab to me. It DOES sound like a fan egging on the opposing coach.
However, who ever said it, Bravissimo - perfect blend of a deep cut at today and yesteryear.
NCAA tournament may have to be a little more flexible if they want to have a tournament this year.
What if it's a team we've not had contact with?
The optics would be horrible (for the NCAA and J&J)We’re approaching the point of vaccinating the general population with both Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines being primarily for the first waves of:
1. Healthcare workers
2. Preexisting conditions
So yes, as we approach that point of the “Gen-pop” being prioritized, I think it’s fully plausible for J&J to dish out 3,400 vaccines to the various 68 NCAA teams heading to the tourney. (Each team gets 50 vaccines)
3,400 vaccines is a drop in the bucket (J&J has already delivers 640K) and considering all the teams would be in the same place (Indy) distribution could be easy.
Just a thought.
What an idiot Howard is. He is like 6'9 and he is going to charge at a coach a foot shorter and older than him in front of his players. That is all that took him to get going was either don't talk at him or the banner comments. Much of it Turgeon had his back turned around too.Not buying it...
It is NOT easy just to delay a 68 team tournament for a few weeks. Hotels, event centers, venues have other events booked
On a lighter note, it is nice to see there may be some sentiment out there others are a little perturbed with the Michigan championship claim. That is just a classic burn on Turgeon's part!
It'd be a great take if that what happened - but I have a hard time believing that's a mid-game rif by Turgeon in that situation. More likely - "get your a** back to your bench"
Either way, Howard is just demonstrating he's not a big time coach. Get some thicker skin you idiot.
no, the ncaa tourney is not going to get canceled. Jesus guys.
Im just pointing out that the NCAA and these schools are quite wealthy and could broker a deal with J&J.
Lets just hope it done not come down to any of this! AS of now 2 teams that were locks for the tourney have a COVID issue. It is possible for both to still play in the tourneyNot easy at all, completely agree. Very hard in fact.
But if the alternative is losing...a quarter of the best teams in college basketball up and down the seed lines, is it even worth it? Especially since many of these teams ARE following the correct protocols.

A tough delay is better than a mass forfeiture (it’s only a few right now hopefully) or heaven forbid a cancellation.
If we get COVID and have to bow out of the tourney, I feel like you’d change your stance especially since the vaccine option is plausible and doesn’t truly take away from the first priority levels.
Dickinson also spent a chunk of time barking and flexing at the Maryland bench in their first game, to the extent that the commentators brought it up.I'm guessing he took issue with Dickinson throwing Maryland and Penn State into the title conversation. I'm sure that was bulletin board material for them too.
along with the fact games were being played outdoorsI am skeptical of "medical experts" information on footballscoop.com.
Clearly the NCAA should've just gone with the ol' "roll out the balls on the deck of an aircraft carrier and let 'er rip" approach.along with the fact games were being played outdoors
The logistics of the NCAA tournament make it nearly impossible to delay. Too many employees, hotels, supporting cast members lives etc.Not easy at all, completely agree. Very hard in fact.

Ohio State up 15 early on Purdue, looking to solidify a 2 seed in the NCAA and lock up 4 top 2 seeds for 4 B1G teams.
Purdue's defense in that half was atrocious to say the least. Wide open 3 after wide open 3. Pretty sure 5 guys from this board could have put up 35 against them.Ohio State up 15 early on Purdue, looking to solidify a 2 seed in the NCAA and lock up 4 top 2 seeds for 4 B1G teams.
