FDU is example numero uno of how the game should be played, IMO. They flat out want this game and are playing HARD. Would do many players well to watch and learn. They are not the most talented, and I'm not saying other teams DON'T want to win, but these kids are bought in.

to me this is a prime example of what i have been complaining about- it is NOT how the game should not be played. PU is sucking it big but when a team is allowed a non-call foul every 10 its not pleasant to watch - they hacked Kofi 3-4 times every time he touched the ball, they are hacking Edey and others every time in this game. They call it relentless defense but it just means the refs are too lazy to call whistles

FDU is playing hard. They seem to be getting the benefit on foul calls. FDU can mug Purdue players who drive, or grab a rebound. Purdue players can't do 1/2 as much back. Edey is getting the Kofi treatment. No blood, no foul. That combined with Purdue going cold from the outside may see Purdue take the early exit.

You may be right. Unfortunately I have been watching it casually while doing some other things, but the last few minutes have been full out effort and hustle.
