Some fun, impactful top 25 games on the schedule today:
6pm
MSU at #2 Michigan
#17 OSU at #3 Baylor
TCU at #6 WVU
Iowa St at #18 Texas Tech
8pm
Huskers at #5 Iowa
#15 Texas at #16 Oklahoma
Arizona State at #24 Colorado
I feel like Nebraska is going to get blitzed, but it would be a pleasant surprise to see them muck Iowa up. I'm watching this one for as long as the Huskers are still in it, which may not be past the first media timeout.
MSU-Michigan is a win/win or lose/lose. It will be interesting to see how Michigan responds - do they play tight, shoot poorly and let MSU beat up on Dickinson? Or do the perimeter guys play aggressive and loose? If they lose tonight, there will be some soul-searching in Ann Arbor as to what this team is really capable of, and this is a bad time of year to be finding that out. Sunday would be on the road against a team that just beat them, with a ton of unexpected pressure....pressure they haven't really faced this year to protect the regular season title and their #1 seed.
Boy, I hate MSU but I would love to see an upset tonight.
For Baylor/OSU, clearly Baylor can be beat, but WVU taking them to OT the other night should have them dialed in for this game. I don't seem them dropping this one after surviving a scare against a much better Huggins squad.
I'd be OK with TCU beating WVU but that ain't happening. Definitely not on the road.
