I've seen the Baton Rouge campus and it's nothing short of beautiful. But from May to mid October? No thank you. He'll wish he was in Chambana.

From November through mid-April, you can make the same argument in reverse.

AM wasnt a good fit...Ill say it again, Trent DW and Ayo stuck with their commitments and Giorgi and others put the team over position and playing time. Those guys changed the trajectory of this program and will be remembered for it.

Question: Are the Illini better off or worse off that Adam chose The Orange in the beginning?

Answer One: Better off, because the Illini need to show they can grab the top Illini ballers that have for too many times gone elsewhere.

Answer Two: Worse off, because Smith and Miller leaving send a message to in-State talent that it’s just easier to make it somewhere else. (Yes, there’s Ayo – but he’s a once-a-decade-or-so special talent/person).

And how does Miller look at his year in Orange? A great learning experience and a fun group of guys to play with, or, I should have gone somewhere else from the start?

The classic Glass Half Full? Or something else?

The good news is Ma. Smith didn't really light the world on fire after transferring. AM won't either and will probably end up shooting 3s in the corner again before transferring, or not getting drafted next year. Pinson is their PG, AM will at the 2, perhaps even off the bench.

So Miller has never been in Baton Rouge, never been in Louisiana and never met Will Wade in person. Hmmm

I was curious how many LSU players have been drafted recently. Since 2010, there have been 9 LSU players drafted. We have had 8…since 2000.

Perhaps staying in Illinois to play in perhaps the largest shadow ever cast by a player here.....was too big a challenge?

So weird. Money or a girl.

If that's real, then I am just speechless. LSU is already in line for potential sanctions. Openly broadcasting evidence of additional violations is a terrible idea. Good luck with all of that, AM.
I saw it on the IG live, so the tweet is real. If that truly is what it means, then... poor judgement.

Big Tim is an idiot and not a person to be taken seriously. Think about this: he states AM was told he could create his shot more and not be a spot shooter.

Wellllllll, how many times do we all remember AM getting wide open looks from 3 and taking them? He could just as easily have faked, let his guy fly past and taken the ball to the rim. AM’s role was what AM determined it to be. Plain and simple. And when he was missing shots, BU was still green lighting him.

I’m not an insider and I don’t know why AM is transferring (potentially). It really doesn’t matter. I wish the kid the best of luck if he leaves and wish him the best of luck if he stays. But, to say he’s transferring because the coaching staff is making him be a player he doesn’t want to be is laughably naive.

Exactly
