Don`t know as of right now , but think they will be for sure come this weekend if there not already (IMO I think they moved ahead of Michigan based on last weeks events) Illini beat Michigan and Ohio State finishing 2-0 on the road , and Michigan lost 2 games last week going 1-2 , think it seems logical but does the NCAA board committee love them that much also?
Yea that’s what I meant after what happened last week. It’s hard to read lunardi to see what happened.

If Michigan State ends up being the 9-seed in our bracket, I'm gonna be pissed
If they don't get to bring their own Breslin officiating crew, it'd be a gift. But probably for the 8 seed in that bracket, since they'd be playing the worst 9 seed.

According to ESPN, we are one of the eight teams capable of winning the title. Of course we are, but interesting list.

Alabama, Baylor, Colorado, Gonzaga, Houston, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan.

We are also in the SI.com's Magic Eight that they do every year. This was posted in mid February.

And Damonte is no slouch as a defender either... he has a big wingspan. Kofi inside is also a deterrent that most teams don't have.
DMW is strong too, and knows how to use his body to defend. Willing to take a charge. Plays a lot bigger than his listed height. He has good instincts too. Occasionally takes a gamble that leads to an easy bucket, but often disrupts the play or forces a turnover.

......Colorado?
Yeah I didn't pay attention to that until I read it again and had to do a double take. Where did that come from? I will be very surprised if a Pac 12 team makes it to the second weekend.

Minnesota is a totally different team without a healthy Robbins. He does so much for them on both ends of the court.

I suspect some surprises on Sunday. It’s just such an interesting comparison this year especially with the BigEasy playing so few Q1 games and the BigTen playing so many.

Virginia has a covid case. Their eligibility for the tournament is now in doubt

Crazy, right?! This is gonna be a weird March Madness.
Heard one of the announcers saying the covid rules are different by county, so some teams may be able to play while others not depending on the location of the game.

Sounds like a mess.
