I will take the Indiana and Northwestern wins today to get us to the 7 line please. Would hopefully win our first game and then get a matchup with #2 Northwestern lol. The Iowa and Wisconsin games don't matter in that scenario.

Edit: PSU being locked in as the 10 seed has somewhat dampened my enthusiam for Illinois possibly getting the 7 seed, but oh well, what are you gonna do... they need to figure out how to beat a team like Penn State if they want to win an NCAA tournament game.

Not really. We 100% need Indiana to win. Then if Iowa wins, we need NW to win. If NEB wins, NW vs RUT doesn't matter.

WIS vs MINN has no impact

So I just realized something...Penn State is locked into the 10 seed...do we really want to play them again?? If we somehow beat them our Quarterfinal game would be against Iowa, Michigan, NW, Indiana, Iowa.

If we are in the 8/9 game our possible opponents are Michigan, Indiana, Rutgers, NW. Would we rather play one of those and then play Purdue again?
I have absolutely idea. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't want anything to do with Penn State. The style they play takes advantage of our biggest weaknesses on defense. Can we beat them? Yes, but I think that's a really bad matchup for us. I think Indiana isn't a good matchup for us either. Would definitely rather get Rutgers and then face Purdue at this point.

I'm for playing them again, and being a later game in the day, and not having to play Purdue again in the next round.

Our best scenario now: Indiana and NW win. We will be 7th seed playing Penn State (10th), and then NW (2nd).
If Indiana and Rutgers win, we will be 7th seed playing Penn State (10th), and then Indiana (2nd).
If Michigan and NW win, we will be 8th seed playing Rutgers (9th), and then Purdue (1st).
If Michigan and Rutgers win, we will be 9th seed playing Indiana (8th), and then Purdue (1st). Worst scenario.
