Yeah I don’t think I have seen how accurate his overall seeding is. I could have a 95% accuracy also. There really are 5-10 bubble teams each year

According to bracket matrix he ranks #55 out of #135 bracketologists over the last 5 years, with a variance of around 7, meaning on average his brackets score 7 points better than the mean. Points are awarded 3 for every team correctly predicted, 3 for every seed correctly predicted, 1 for every seed predicted incorrectly but within 1 seed line. So he's not the best, but pretty good. At a minimum, above average.

Just please no Zags or AZ region. Would love a shot at Auburn. We could definitely take KU or Duke as well. Probably want to avoid UK.
Thought I heard them say on the pregame show the top 16 seeds are pretty much locked, which means well be a 4 seed. Didn't see us getting to a 3 unless we won the BTT. Hopefully the tradeoff of fresh legs and minds will pay off. Would have liked to at least have this one personally. Lets hope we can make a deeper run.

I thought I saw somewhere yesterday (Werner maybe?) that Grandy was in "practice gear" yesterday and that BU said he would be fitted in something like Trent. If this means he's practicing as a full team this week....as in five-six full days of practice as a healthy squad, I fully expect us to be playing the second weekend.
Basically every team right behind us would have to get multiple Q1 wins this weekend for us to drop out of the 4 line. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.

As a 4 seed Illinois has gone 8-6 since 1986. We have made 2 Sweet 16 appearances, in 2002 and 2004. If we do get a 4 seed, it will be the seventh time that has happened.
Does today boot us out of Milwaukee?
Real question...does it boot us into Indy? We're 0-2 between the two this year!

SDSU went undefeated in conference and they are talented on the perimeter. No doubt we should beat them but they are good. Can't really defend but they are 11th in Kenpom in offensive efficiency

Highly doubtful as this point. Most experts have us as the 2nd / 3rd best 4 seed.
