It’s criminal that Hutch didn’t enter the game until halfway through the 2nd half. He looked more comfortable than both Grandison and Damonte.
Speaking of Damonte, I love him but there’s no chance he shoots over 35% from 3 this year. Last year was a one hit wonder for his jumper.

Curbelo didn’t have a particularly good game, but how people can lay this loss at his feet is beyond me. Yes, he has room for growth, but I don’t even want to think what would have happened if he and Kofi didn’t play. I mean after a minute into the KSU and Arkansas Mark Smith had scored half as many points as Hawk, Trent, Jacob and DMW combined tonight.

This is a coaching issue, blame the players all you want but this is purely on Underwood. He never made any adjustments at half and they came out flat again. He finally made defensive adjustments after they were down 20. He needs to be less stubborn, the players showed zero motivation to win that game. People said Marquette would be ranked, they aren’t, they aren’t good. Now they will say Cincinnati is a top 25 team, they aren’t. Lose another one like this and you have a major problem on your hands.

Back to back embarrassing efforts, their last two opponents simply wanted the game more, maybe this team has been reading their pre-season press clippings too much. It took a late uncontested three just to get to 20 freaking points in the second half - unbelievable. Time for serious soul searching.
Our seniors have been through too much to give us a combined two points. Very bad showing. Let’s rebound tomorrow.
It's not though. No Miller, no Giorgi, and probably most importantly none of Ayo's leadership. His attitude definitely had a positive impact on lasr year's team.
