Man… thinking about what OA would do with Hansberry and Dain gives me butterflies.

Chuckle was a hell of a recruiter. No one is too radioactive for Kentucky. Bruce Pearl? Chris Beard? Will Wade? All okay for Big Blue Nation. Hell, if Charles Manson was a whiz in the transfer portal they'd be backing up the truck. No scruples whatsoever.
Yes AD is a douche. Other than being known as early stops for Jerry tarkanian and lute Olsen, lbsu bball ain’t much. Monson always scheduled brutal non conference opponents, which made them interesting to follow. Genuinely seems like a good guy, very personable too and had as much success as can possibly be expected there. Who does this ad think he’ll get that’s better? Not like they’re in the running to lure anyone.Wow.
AD is either full of himself or covering his a$$ from the backlash or both.
DePaul fans are over the moon with this hire. He is beloved in the Chicago area.
This is frightening on so, so many levels.View attachment 32588
I think you underestimate Big Blue Nation’s disillusionment.
Mullins is a good guy. His dad also runs the IL Wolves
SIU is about to hire Morehead St CoachMaybe they can find room for Bruce on that staff.
meh if true. john groce vibes there
I don't know about John Groce, but I wouldn't be thrilled if I were Louisville. With Groce, what annoyed me was he had never finished better than 3rd in the MAC. The beauty of the NCAA tournament is anything can happen. Making the Sweet 16 didn't make him magically a great coach.meh if true. john groce vibes there
Maybe for DePaulIs that good
Basically, Louisville is essentially like Illinois right now. Hiring May was like when Illinois hired Self in 2000 in a best case scenario where Self was the recognized mid-major “golden child”. May might very well be a big success at Louisville, but it’s not like Louisville poached a top power conference coach or someone like Billy Donovan with oodles of past college success and a NBA pedigree.I don't know about John Groce, but I wouldn't be thrilled if I were Louisville. With Dusty May, I don't really know. He took over a program that was mediocre for at least a decade. However, he was also mediocre for the first 4 seasons. Then he got this group together and they won a lot of games and made him a lot of money. So can he get that type of talent advantage at Louisville? maybe. The ACC isn't the power conference it once was, but there are still some legit teams to pass up if you ever want any hardware.
My expectation is May will be good, not great. He's not going to threaten UNC or Duke, but he'll probably get them in the top 5.
We make a good run and I assume Geoff and Chester are getting interviews at the final 4.If Schertz leaves Indiana State, would Geoff get any consideration as his replacement?
