New booster? Or is 'proving it' loosening up some existing purse stringsI expect our NIL to get even more of a bump (not including rev sharing) this offseason. Not counting Sarr, they will be able to bring in two big name guys if they can land them.
Smart. Never join the carousel if you can avoid it.Texas always handles their searches like this, they try to find their guy and make him say yes before they make a move

I’m curious too. But glad to hear some indication in this direction. I was concerned it might be the opposite if boosters were frustrated with some of the lows this year.New booster? Or is 'proving it' loosening up some existing purse strings
Just to the S16Brad ain’t going anywhere
Self and... Brad Stevens. It's not at all a lock that Sean leaves Xavier even if he is offered the Texas job ...
CDC has his sights set on two other coaches ... He wants to make a BIG SPLASH ... He is having conversations with both of those coaches/their people today ...
I didn't know that TSJ was viewed as such a strong coach. Neat. He's in this photo with the other BIG SPLASH candidate CDC is interested in ...

Out of curiosity...Agree ... Even if he is a preferred candidate at Texas, doesn't mean Texas is a preferred destination for him ...
However - smart for Brad to have people flirt with Texas ... Then just go out and win again and again ... Illinois pays you more, and you get more NIL ...
Everyone wins ...
I think people know Brad is really starting to knock on the door here. Next year could be an amazing opportunity to have a really good team that could contend for titles.New booster? Or is 'proving it' loosening up some existing purse strings
That can't be true. That means they didn't read all of the facts on this board about how not one of our players would see the floor if they played for Duke.I think people know Brad is really starting to knock on the door here. So that's a done deal? Surprised a program bigger than Iowa didn't go after him.Gonna be a really nice hire for Iowa, curious to see how it goes though. Their fanbase is saying he's already a top coach in the country. Stirz will be a nice starting point.

He is the 14th highest paid coach, not top 10. Only makes $50k more that Fred Hoiberg for gosh sakes. How much of BU's salary is coming out of your pocket? You do know that conference wins are a requirement to make the tourney right? Why would BU leave? He's making top 10 money for coaches and, from what I read on here, a fan base who considers the season a success because they made the tourney and won a game. With that $ and expectations a coach would be an absolute fool to leave. Myself, I don't care if he stays or goes. We aren't a blue blood by any stretch but if we are actually paying that much to a coach then a 2nd weekend season should be a reasonable expectation. I don't give 2about conference wins and championships as a criteria. I more care about wins in the tournament. Conference stuff would seem to take care of itself with tournament success. JMO and truly don't care if you agree or not.
