Thats fine. When Frazier succeeds at a mid major and then his stock is too high for West Virginia, they'll have missed their chance. West Virginia basketball isn't exaclty the sexiest college basketball job. Power conference or not.scheyer was announced a year before K retired and was a player and an asst under K at that same school.
davis played at unc, and while he didn’t play under williams he was an asst there for 9 years. davis also had a decent nba career, which helped his cause (even if it didn’t help others’ failures, ewing, mullins, drexler, etc.)
And according to Evanmiya he was a negative value on offense. Enough with the all-defense no-offense guys.A guy who was all defense in the Big XII would be a great add. What a silly comment. Whichever team gets Harris will be lucky.

Willard to Nova is all but done unless something major happens….
Zero clue if there is any truth we hear, but crazy.
I don't know, I have pretty mixed feelings. I don't love Maryland, but they're not so far down my sh** list that I want them to be screwed by a scumbag move like this would be. I reserve that level of loathing fori the likes of Mizzou.
If Willard leaving Maryland is true and he used the "Christmas in New York" thing as a smokescreen to make Maryland look bad on his way out, it's a total d**k move and makes me not respect him even more. I realize we aren't exactly dealing with paragons of virtue in this profession on some occasions, but that move does not sit well with me at all.

Until we see what happens to Ben, Booth, Ty, Dra, Jake Davis, and Jason we don't need to add more role players. If we want great results we should want great transfers, not "meh they take minutes" guys, when we currently have too many.
Willard showing his true colors. He's like school on a Sunday....If Willard leaving Maryland is true and he used the "Christmas in New York" thing as a smokescreen to make Maryland look bad on his way out, it's a total d**k move and makes me not respect him even more. And does she have a short neck and are her growth plates still open?Any pictures of your Grandmother?
Seems like he could have done better than that. Penn hasn’t been relevant in basketball for quite some time, even if those stretches were pretty good. Does he have any connections / history there? Maybe just wants a lower pressure job?
Edit: I see he is a Wharton grad, and played there. Still seems an odd choice.
The post could have left off "But if he leaves like this" and the statement would still be true

Illinois wants to be Elite, so let's get some good players, become a top team and do not shy away from a "risky" away game. Let's give Fran a Q1 opportunity!
Illinois vs. Penn at the Palestra in '25.
Penn vs. Illinois in Champaign in '26.
You get what you pay forThey like how inexpensive he is
This coming from the same coach who just recruited Humrichous and Booth....I'd say Hansberry is a lot less mediocre than these twoIf he has to bring Harris and Hansberry along with him let's keep him away. I'd prefer being done with recruiting mediocrity.
Kevin Willard has been and always will be a little weaselWillard to Nova is all but done unless something major happens….![]()
I hate MD and their fans, minus Scott Van Pelt. But I do hate it for the players.I don't know, I have pretty mixed feelings. VCU's Ryan Odom, who beat Virginia as a 16 seed with UMBC so famously, has taken over as Head Coach at Virginia.
That is the SIXTH consecutive VCU coach to leave for a high-major job, all since 2006.
Jeff Capel to Oklahoma
Anthony Grant to Alabama
Shaka Smart to Texas
Will Wade to LSU
Mike Rhoades to Penn State
Ryan Odom to Virginia
Pretty sure no school has a stepping-stone record anywhere close to that, that's extremely impressive in its way.
Assuming we keep the majority of the core players and role players, the portal needs 1-2 gamechangers. I feel like we have the supporting players all set. We really need a couple of players who will step in and take the team to a different level.Until we see what happens to Ben, Booth, Ty, Dra, Jake Davis, and Jason we don't need to add more role players. If we want great results we should want great transfers, not "meh they take minutes" guys, when we currently have too many.
Wonder what happened with Mack
