Me too....I know you got some good news too...wanna share?Welcome back 0440...wish you brought better news with you.
Not sure I understand what you mean...This is what you want as a program; now BU can sell this to the next assistants he looks to hire on.
No. This is what you want from a program that has been proven successful over time. This is the opposite of what you want from a program that has been in the dumps for a decade and recently emerged with the people being poached. This is what you want as a program; now BU can sell this to the next assistants he looks to hire on.

Illinois has mastered the art of the momentum killer.
What, you want multiple assistants to leave for assistant positions at another school? You want to sell assistants on the idea that if they pay their dues here they can take the same position somewhere better? Sorry, but I think we deserve to aim a little higher than that. Did people say stuff like this when Self left for KU? I'd agree if they were getting head coaching positions, but that's not the case hereThis is what you want as a program; now BU can sell this to the next assistants he looks to hire on.
Right? Podziemski literally picked us over Kentucky, Melendez is Antigua’s guy, Storr is Coleman’s guy, Payne is Antigua’s guy, Curbelo (sweet lord, stay with us). From an outsider’s perspective with no inside information, this has the potential to absolutely gut us.Am I the only one concerned that Curbelo and Melendez follow, Kofi doesn’t come back, and Plummer changes his mind because of this?
This could really suck !!!.
I agree with this take. His brand is enhanced more by building us than going back to UK. I wonder if it was marketed to him in this way or if it was just pure $$$ (or something else)? Time will tell, but it truly is a bummer.Damn, that is disappointing. I am obviously biased, but I think what OA has accomplished here is more impressive and rewarding than recruiting talent to Kentucky, and I wouldn't leave for anything but a head coaching job if I were in his shoes. Obviously, I am not.
