It makes a bit of sense that a New Jersey guy might end up singing a song about New York City. But the same Jersey guy sings a famous song about... Chicago? I’m all for bringing in top talent from out of State. But who recruited this guy to sing about Chicago? What, they couldn’t get one of those great Blues singers from the South Side to do it? Outside talent, fine. We need that. But like Ayo, we gotta keep and develop some great in-State talent as well.
