I've talked with coach Walker a few times, fine coach and great example for the University.....I think BU was just getting his coaches in place.

If Antigua and Coleman leave it will be a disappointment for sure, but I believe in Brad Underwood and Josh Whitman to keep this thing going. It would certainly be a bump in the road but these guys are serious about putting the Illini back on the map. If these guys go to Kentucky look for quick and impressive hires to replace. We haven’t reached cruising altitude yet and these guys will get us there.

His integrity and coaching skills and knowledge is respected highly of BRAD UNDERWOOD AND the rest of ILLINOIS NATION. He will realize that he left Kentucky for more than one reason, the attachment to the history and the current culture that he helped with is greater for him and his family will be forever loved

He left Kentucky for the simplest of reasons --to get a head coaching job. You do that even if you love your job as an assistant. And keep in mind he followed Cal from Memphis to Kentucky. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he wanted to go back to Kentucky. If he stays at Illinois, it's a testament to how hard they fought to keep him. Either way, he's going to be well compensated for his talents.
