Translation for us non Twitter users?
It appears that CY Young, currently an assistant coach at FSU, has started keeping tabs on our recent recruiting activity. Could be an indication that he will soon be joining our staff as an assistant coach.

It's possible he's recruiting Mitchell for FSU and is giving him a show of support.
I mean, that's kinda crazy. If he happened to like a tweet for a recruit we were linked to, but didn't expressly mention us, I'd give you that. But it would be extremely weird for another coach to ever like a tweet mentioning an offer from an opposing school, especially one he's being linked to, unless the deal is essentially done and it's just a matter of waiting to announce it.

Not necessarily. Getting offers is a big deal for these guys. If you're forming a relationship with a player, giving them a bunch of positive feedback when they accomplish something could be beneficial. I'm not sure how CY operates, but it doesn't seem far-fetched to me. Of course, I also think he could be liking it because he's gonna be taking charge of that recruitment for Illinois.

Say it's been rumored that you're negotiating with another company and your current one is aware of it. Do you go on social media and start liking tweets referencing your possible new company? Especially when your current company can so easily see you doing it?

If I'm really good at my job and the other company is known to be dropping bags for coaches? Hey, maybe.
