The Iowa coaching change is going be very similar to Kansas states when Snyder retired
Rooting for it to be like Texas Tech after Bobby Knight retired.

I hope the Iowa coaching change comes after Saturday. I hope their defense just falls apart and we thrash them like they did us before. 70-0 .. so their AD tells their coach either you fire your son as OC or we fire you both with KF refusing and both get canned out of their on Sunday. lolThe Iowa coaching change is going be very similar to Kansas states when Snyder retired
I agree, I doubt he wants to keep moving his kids around and would love to settle down in a place where he can be successful. Plus, he has a great boss who will take care of him. Whitman will do what it takes to keep quality coaches.I do believe BB’s failure at Arkansas and his time in the NFL has really humbled him. With two young children, he’s ready to lay some roots in a community and university that will take care of him and his family.
If he continues this ascension of success, he will be here a while, comparable or even more as his time in Madison.
It will only last 3 years then he'll come back? The Iowa coaching change is going be very similar to Kansas states when Snyder retired
Lol. Bingo....but naw just that he will want his son to be named and Iowa brass and fans will want to go in a different direction and it will cause some friction. It will only last 3 years then he'll come back?
It's funny how much the Iowa fans hate Ferentz. It's gone on so long that there's not even really any football content to it anymore, he meets their expectations, they're just sick to death of him.Lol. Bingo....but naw just that he will want his son to be named and Iowa brass and fans will want to go in a different direction and it will cause some friction.
He's been very prominent in the coaching profession in a number of different high profile jobs college and pro for over a decade now, and I still have no particular impression of him and am not sure if he's any good or not. Kind of extraordinary in a way.But what about Bill O'brien?
While I agree….my post was sarcasm carried over from a previous post of my from yesterday lolHe's been very prominent in the coaching profession in a number of different high profile jobs college and pro for over a decade now, and I still have no particular impression of him and am not sure if he's any good or not. A great example of what BB was talking about in his recent interview. Everything they do is connected. And in order to be successful, they can't ignore any part of the whole. It's hard to win, and it's really hard to win consistently.
"CEO coach" used to be said pejoratively, but that's increasingly the core of the job description.A great example of what BB was talking about in his recent interview. Everything they do is connected. And in order to be successful, they can't ignore any part of the whole. It's hard to win, and it's really hard to win consistently.
Lovie staffed up our recruiting operation massively, which continues to be a benefit to the program and which performed rather well even then when you consider how little help they were getting from their head coach.chryst didn’t have a recruiting dept
lovie didn’t know what a recruiting dept was nor was recruiting was
welcome to the world we lived in
I don't think Neon Deion improved his chances of a BIG TIME COACH spot, after that childish press conference after the Jackson State Victory.
I think Sanders is the only cornerback in the history of the NFL that made the Hall of Fame without ever making a tackle........I read that somewhere , sometime ago...........At least , i think I did........maybe I just made it up ........maybe I'm dreaming right now as I'm typing this post......I read the article and watched the video. I don't think he hurt his chances at all. To me, it seems like sour grapes by Alabama State's coach. I think Deion is totally justified in being upset that another coach said he "wasn't SWAC." That is one incredibly loaded statement.'He ain't SWAC:' Robinson snubs Deion 'bro hug'
Alabama State coach Eddie Robinson Jr. took Jackson State coach Deion Sanders' hand following Alabama State's 26-12 loss to Jackson State, but wanted no part of an embrace with Sanders, instead shoving him with his left hand as he walked away.www.espn.com
Of course, Deion is going to be fiery. Of course, there's going to be showmanship. This is who he is and what he brings to the table. What he also brings to the table is excellent recruiting and winning.
I'm sorry, I can't help myself. Do you know who would be a lot better fit for LSU than Brian Kelly? Deion. Deion could recruit the absolute heck out of Louisiana and LSU would pay the money for him to get top assistants to help him win.
The Pirate would be the one guy that I would call if I were the Nebraska AD.Unbelievable that in his 3rd year at Miss St Leach already has them as a SEC contender outside of Bama/ Tennessee
Easily one of the most underrated coaches in college football
19 bowl appearances in 21 seasons, won at 2 difficult programs in Texas tech and Wash St and now turning Miss St around
