The fact he didn’t have a conference to play in going forward … Massive assistant pool … If you’re not in the Big 10, Big 12 or SEC going forward … Good luck … 🤷🏻‍♂️
As a Beaver fan I hate to see it, but completely understandable from his perspective. I do wonder if the “PAC 12” hadn’t fallen apart this year whether he would have taken the job. Certainly OSU wouldn’t have been able to match the money, but they would have sweetened the pot some. Would that plus staying at alma mater and in the region he’s lived all his adult life done it? But no conference is a game changer. Oh well. Hope it works out for him. And I’m guessing MSU fans are hoping this hire works out better than the last from Pac 12.

Big domino falls and it is a shocker if official

Personally I am confused by by this hire but can't absolutely make fun of it. It is a lot the Johnathan Smith hire, not very splashy and both done wonders for very iffy teams. A&M definitely to avoid another "style over substance" hire. However, I am wondering why A&M just not hire Johnathan Smith. Plus will Aggie boosters allow him to do his thing.

(Side note: it seems that Stoops would have fit in better at Michigan State with strength in recruiting Ohio.)

Wow, that seems... underwhelming.

Fire Jimbo and pay him 75 million just to go hire his former DC …

Really a big fan of Mississippi State going to get Lebby …
I know at least one Oklahoma fan who would love to lose Lebby and few TCU fans who wouldn't mind Lebby taking his brother in law to Starkville too.

You think you'd at least be able to hire someone who has actually been competitive with the top teams in the conference....
To defend Stoops, he won 10 games twice at a school who didn't win 10 game since 1977 and before then hadn't won 10 game since a guy named Bear Bryant coached there....heck during their dry spell they could only win seven games with Mike Leach as an OC.

Interesting that Prime and Sapp a U player are teaming up. Seems like they would be better suited from a recruit standpoint being in Florida. CU will benefit slightly going to the Big 12 without UT or OU
Sapp.....seriously.....not exactly head of the Morals Department.

sadly, I do think Henry needs to shoulder a lot of the blame.
overall, 90% of the time, our D was pathetic
It was. What’s difficult for me to discern is how much was blown assignments and how much was due to poor calls. I feel like the former was the bigger problem late in the season. Our dbs couldn’t play zone or man coverage.
