If I’m ND, Gates and Tang would be the first two calls on my list. Convince that ND money dump truck that they are probably closer to a CBK title than a CFB title.

Digger is an a$$. He was instrumental in making La Phonso Ellis lie about Illinois, inferring Jimmy (and Lou) offered him something just like Deon was “offered a Blazer’ according to Satan. Ellis’ “testimony” was included as “evidence” by the NCAA to help put Illinois on probation because the Illini were recruiting and playing so well so Digger would do anything to stop us. This is one of the reasons I hate Notre Dame so much.

Even if none of what you mentioned were true (and it is), "Digger" ( what an a$$hat of a name) would still be an a$$. It's simply who he was, truly and completely. And I'm confident that many times in his life he has consumed a bag of dic...

Neither of them would even answer the phone lol …

If Holtmann gets canned, he’s a real possibility … Pat Kelsey another name …

I didn’t remember all that about LaPhonso Ellis’s role in the Deion-thing. Not %100 sure I ever knew it…thanks for the info.

All I really remember about Digger is he was approximately a B+ coach who was buddy-buddy with Bobby. (I guess that should have been a clue in hindsight)

My wife was in ND as an visiting student last year so I spent quite a lot of time there and watched a ND game at Joyce Center, when they hosted Syracuse. ND is a well coached team, but the basketball fan base is far weaker than us. I could easily get a ticket very close to the field with $20.
And losing Brey could mean harder recruiting for them - they are not doing very well now and even lost Jaden Ivey to Purdue, whose mother is a ND basketball coaching stuff.

Glad he's having a good season.....but had Goode been healthy all season.....not so much.....
Right. People look at his results in Santa Clara and feel a huge loss. What they are not taking into account is that he is performing so well because he is getting over 35 minutes and almost 14 shots per game. That would never happen if he were here. We have a lot of guys that could perform at a very high level being the go to guy at Santa Clara. Podz would still have to beat all of those guys out to get on the court here.

That said, if he wanted to come back, I would take him. I would not expect him to score 18 ppg though, or see 35 minutes. He'd be a rotation guy. That is only under the assumption he's the best transfer out there. With the way the portal has been, that's unlikely to be the case, but you never know.

he would be foolish to think of transferring out of there , given how well he’s meshed there .

that ship has sailed . he probably was never a good fit here , even though he’s seemingly got a good shot .

fit , from both sides , player & program , is key
