Tobin Anderson (fdu) to Iona. Never ceases to amaze how 1-2 wins (and the media exposure) changes a guys career.
I actually expected a bigger jump for him than that. Maybe I don’t respect Iona since they didn’t exist to me before pitino

I'd take Miller 100 times out of 100 over Brad. Brad got this thing back to a respectable place but frankly I think he's hit his ceiling. Miller could take it to another level.
As long as we maintain a minimum of this level of respectability then I am all in on Whitman and whatever hardball he decides to play and whatever hiring decisions he makes. He's earned a long leash. The last 5ish years have been a hell of a ride.

The “rumor” going around has been known for weeks and just hasn’t surfaced until now … I have had private conversations with a lot of people I trust and people on here about the whole Brad and Texas thing … It’s no guarantee Brad is back at this point, that’s all I’ll say …

The other “rumor” that is floating around with agents and coaches is whether or not Self calls it a career due to his health and Kansas opens … Self has talked to me himself after the incident and said that’s not his plan but as we all know things can change …

IF Brad were to leave … Whitman is ALL. IN. on one guy and it isn’t a secret to those in the know and now I’ll let you guys all be in the know … And yes for those that know who the guy standing next to Miller is … We want him as well …

Is the assistant, Adam Cohen?

*edit, @Whitmans Sampler beat me to it. He’s quick on the draw

As a Tucson resident, I never got any bad vibes about Sean Miller other than his painfully slow offense.
My uncle is a 50 year Arizona Wildcats booster, and he loved Miller. Not as much as Saint Lute, obviously.

I think one rhymes with Yawn Killer.
1) seems like an upgrade over his brother (dream killer)
2) feels like I need to go back and research whatever happens at Zona. Had a Xavier fan talking trash about Pitino and had to do a double take because I thought Yawn Killer got fired for recruiting violations and saw a recent headline where Pitino was cleared of wrong doing.

I don’t understand a lot about sports politics. So, could someone answer the following overly long/dense questions for me?

Why would a head coach of a D1 school with great sport facilities, in a great community, making millions of dollars, with full backing of the AD and administration, with good autonomy in the workplace, and with job security choose to interview for another job unless the goal is to work in the pros or unless there is an offer from a dream school or unless one of the above positives is incorrect. Is there really that much of a difference in pecking order in the college power conferences? After the first few millions does one or two more really add that much to personal happiness?
Money is very addicting. See Stan Kronke

Kofi, Ayo, and Brad got it back to another level and BU landing Kofi was the biggest and largest reason why BUs offense worked and we won. Without Kofi i don't see BU h ing such success and there Re not many guys like Kofi.. It also sums up my thoughts on BU. Solid evaluator and recruiter but scheme wise he needs to improve a lot. I would appreciate what he has done but excited to add Miller to take the next step.

personally think there's no way Texas hires BU. you only get rid of Terry if it is a home run hire, and BU would not be that for them. I'd personally be way more worried if Musselman or Oats get sniped and Bama or Arkansas is open.

It’s fun to get into these hypotheticals but I think there will be much less shake up than what everyone says.

Self is staying at KU, they would give him all the time in the world to heal. Even a season off.

Calipari probably gets at least another year at Kentucky, but if he underperforms again it might be off to the pros.

Arkansas will probably pay anything to keep musselman RN, as would Xavier with Miller

Doesn’t leave a lot of high profile jobs open, except Texas. I would guess they give it to Terry in the end.

My 2 cents
