if the stewardesses could go back to 1972 , the flight would be fine. in fact , the 6 hours would go too fast

a pretty good addition for basketball to the B12, albeit it wont mean much in terms of revenue. just prestige

Yomark's got a bee in his bonnet for expansion, but from a purely financial perspective, adding Gonzaga is probably dilutive. From a hoops perspective though, it's a big win-win for the Big 12 and the Zags.

All that noise about the 4 Corners schools jumping to the Big 12 sure has died down A LOT lately.

Unless Gonzaga is planning to add football, I'd have to imagine any deal would be reduced by whatever share of the media deal is considered to come from football (since they don't field football) in which case I'd say it's probably de minimis rather than dilutive. Their basketball program probably increases the value of Big 12 basketball which is a small positive gain, and if they're not taking football revenue from other schools, then it remains a small positive gain.

Interesting that they would finalize their media deal then talk about Gonzaga in expansion. Obviously football makes the money, but if you have a new blue blood in your basketball lineup, that’s gotta be worth a little more on the sell.
