Yeah that lineup has been awesome this year. Add a guy coming off 2 serious leg injuries who hasn't played in years and now we really have something.

I certainly understand your point. Guuess I'm still hopeful we'll get a healthy roster and put things together. Seems to be my go to state these days. Hope beyond hope...even when it isn't totally realistic.

ET knows where he is going and it's not here. It's really time to move on to another big for 2016.

Haven't seen anything, or any rumors on where he'll end up. That said, leaving when he hasn't played much due to injury, with plenty of PT available next season, or even this one if he improves, makes me wonder who's advising him. It's just a head scratcher, looking at it from the outside.

I think he has a Freshman and Sophomore playing ahead of him.

IF he is able to go to Texas, that would be my bet. My guess is he will stay in the South. He most likely sees the writing on the wall that he won't get the playing time he was promised during the recruiting process.

IF we make contact, would love to scoop him up but chances are .001%. Much more hope that Throne comes back for 6th year. Which, IMO is better than having ET sit a year and then play for the O&B.

Once again lets quit acting like we know what he is going to do. Is he coming here, probably not. Does he know where he is going yet...who knows. Unless you have inside information your just guessing at this point.

My perception is that transfers usually choose schools closer to home. TAM is close to Lancaster TX but SMU is practically in his backyard. Just a wild guess.

I agree that staying close to home is often a criteria--especially when you've initially gone far away--not the case here. But when you're leaving because you're not playing, potential playing time trumps everything.

The first thing to ask about any potential ET transfer school is the same we ask ourselves :

Do you have an open scholly in the next few weeks? Gotta think ET decides sooner rather than later, and that requires having a scholly to spare right now.

ET is at the University of Texas at Austin, according to his snapchat. Who knows if it is related to a transfer.

Not so wild on SMU at all. Now that the hammer has been dropped on SMU and it won't effect ET all that much, that is where he will probably end up. I think he avoided SMU in the first place because he might have been a part of the investigation. That ET recruitment had some stink to it. I regret our name even being mentioned in that recruitment.

Texas currently has 12 scholarship and three walk-on players, so they could give him a scholarship right away without booting anyone.

Elijah's AAU teammate is also transferring at semester break....

Ohio State freshman guard Austin Grandstaff has decided to transfer.

The 6-foot-5 Grandstaff, who was ranked in the Top 50 coming out of high school in Texas and considered one of the top shooters in the country, was averaging 4.4 points in 10 games thus far this season.

Wes Grandstaff, Austin's Dad, was granted guardian status to ET between 7th and 8th grade. In fact ET moved in w/Grandstaff's that summer. An awful lot of people pulling at ET. Does anybody remember the name of that mentor dude that ET brought with him on OV or was that Evans??
