6 minimum. Bowl game required.

Agree. Since Lovie took over, 2019 has been the target year for turning the corner. "The first year didn't count." "Wait until he get's his players in place and they become upper classmen." It's time to produce. It's time to turn the corner. Bowl game or bust.*

*I might even tolerate a 5 win, highly competitive in our losses, season. But not making a bowl game, with losses where we regularly get beat by 4 touchdowns, or more (see Iowa 63 Illinois 0) will be the end for me.

Does anyone know if Lovie and Leavitt have ever had their paths cross in the coaching world? His was a name I was hoping we would pursue when we hired The Big Dipper (Timmy B). If you believe the reports, he is getting quite a settlement from Oregon so money perhaps would not be an issue. Lots of midwest ties, too. We could do far worse than adding him.

From watching our BBall game from last night, it was streamed across the screen that Jerry Kill has resurfaced as the AD for Southern Illinois. Something tells me the Salukis will be heard from in the near future.

Good God I hope so. We need something to go right down here.

Solid hire. Article has him coming back as Running Backs Coach. I thought they would do as IlliniNation1010 mentioned a while back:
Agree, bringing MB back would be a great move! He is a very good recruiter & WR coach. Ideally then, AHS would become the RB Coach (he played & has coached the position) allowing MB to become the WR coach.

How many more spots do we have left to fill now?
Offensive Line will most certainly be filled by Garin Justice, which I think is another solid hire. Strength and Conditioning Coach still needs to be filled, maybe by an internal promotion?

Not so fast....look at who FSU just parted ways with.
