We should have used the "use it or lose it" TO on the inbounds after the shot clock reset. That was a huge possession and Brad let it go.
Yay! Rush a shot because U don't know it was reset, then 1 on 3 and the "1" gets a basket.

That was hugely damaging...Shannon throws and air-ball into row 6 and then three Illini defenders allow a layup at the other end when the Illini had the ball in hand. Can't see any good outcome to a game with so many game-changing blunders throughout.

Not having every guy screaming “we have a fresh 20 on the shot clock” that last possession is a weirdly perfect example of one of this team’s issues … during our funks, we look like five individual athletes out there more than a team.
If we keep up this dynamic, we’ll make a second half run to narrow the lead to four or so and things will self-correct down the stretch, sending us home one and done. We HAVE to be mentally tough and focused.
