I think he lost confidence, playing it safe rather than aggressive, that mentality unfortunately is so hard to overcome

I hope he overcomes it. Unfortunate for sure - but he is so fun to watch when playing with confidence.

If I'm a PF/C recruit watching this game and liking the Illini, I'm salivating at all the playing time available to me with high quality guard play.

Every time I see McQuaid I'm the game, it's like I'm watching a viral video of a special needs kid put into a game and they let him score a few points. Only were the jerks and play tight D on him when he gets the ball.
