respect my decisionā„¢
I wonder if he redshirts. Get his degree in four and have a fifth year option wherever he can get minutes.

He'll have options long before that. But, yeah, I hope he sticks it out. Really, really good walk-on. Good enough to make our scholarship guys work hard.

Not sure how many I'd get these days using half that. I'm sure it's a similarly small number.
Once the kids get older get back under the bar and you'll be surprised how quickly you're benching 275 again. Strength is a persistent adaptation.

I started going to the gym again about a year ago, but I'm not really in it to perpetually seek new personal bests. I just wanted to be healthier and not feel like crap all the time, and that seems to have mostly worked.

Is anyone else confused as to why this guy uses a camera with such bad quality (both picture and audio) when a 7 year old iPhone could record better?
Probably because not enough people read his stuff/frequent his underground message board to generate enough ad revenue for him?

My experience has been the opposite, it is shocking how quickly my body loses strength and how long it takes to build it back šŸ™
Sorry to hear that. Older people detrain quickly but generally get it back quickly if we're consistent. I'm just conveying what someone who has trained lifters for more than 40 years has noted, even for those who don't lift regularly for a decade or more. I've experienced the same fairly quick rebound after long layoffs in '20 and this spring, and I'm in my mid-50s.

Thanks, that is good to know. It's not that I'm not trying but lately it is hard to know if I'm tired because of my 4 year old or I'm tired and I have a 4 year old

Don't sweat it. You've been in a rough time of life. Having been there a while ago, it's cause-and-effect from that baby haze. If you're not sleeping and eating regularly, you can't train. It doesn't work. The good news is that you're fairly well out of the physically-brutal stage of child-rearing, and you've got a few years before entering the three-dimensional chess / UFC stage. Use that time well, my friend! ;):ROFLMAO:

BU said he was on campus July 11. IIRC, I saw a photo of him via the Board working out with the team during late July.

As others have noted, he is there, but the mullet unfortunately hasnā€™t arrived yet.
The mullet is and shall remain a state of mind.

Yeah, but I think the mullet was weighing him down.
I'd make a quip about the torque on his cervical spine, but having had a herniated disc several years ago, and back problems intermittently earlier in life, I just wince when I read "limited by some back issues."

Hope he gets lots of Fletch time to make that back strong, and that he's free of pain soon.
