Ant Wright is far less delusional than many in the Michigan orbit. I'll give him that.

They say the camera adds 15 lbs.Camera angle for the scale must have been off. Happens a lot with height.

I wonder if he redshirts. Get his degree in four and have a fifth year option wherever he can get minutes.
Once the kids get older get back under the bar and you'll be surprised how quickly you're benching 275 again. Strength is a persistent adaptation. Not sure how many I'd get these days using half that. I'm sure it's a similarly small number.
My experience has been the opposite, it is shocking how quickly my body loses strength and how long it takes to build it backOnce the kids get older get back under the bar and you'll be surprised how quickly you're benching 275 again. Strength is a persistent adaptation.
Well he had options already. But he clearly values a u of I degree so I'd be surprised if he didn't finish that. He'll have options long before that. But, yeah, I hope he sticks it out. Really, really good walk-on. Good enough to make our scholarship guys work hard.
With summer and winter classes he can easily get that in 3 years and if he redshirts he could still have two years of eligibility.Well he had options already. But he clearly values a u of I degree so I'd be surprised if he didn't finish that.
I started going to the gym again about a year ago, but I'm not really in it to perpetually seek new personal bests. I just wanted to be healthier and not feel like crap all the time, and that seems to have mostly worked.Once the kids get older get back under the bar and you'll be surprised how quickly you're benching 275 again. Is anyone else confused as to why this guy uses a camera with such bad quality (both picture and audio) when a 7 year old iPhone could record better?
Probably because not enough people read his stuff/frequent his underground message board to generate enough ad revenue for him?Is anyone else confused as to why this guy uses a camera with such bad quality (both picture and audio) when a 7 year old iPhone could record better?
Sorry to hear that. Older people detrain quickly but generally get it back quickly if we're consistent. I'm just conveying what someone who has trained lifters for more than 40 years has noted, even for those who don't lift regularly for a decade or more. I've experienced the same fairly quick rebound after long layoffs in '20 and this spring, and I'm in my mid-50s.My experience has been the opposite, it is shocking how quickly my body loses strength and how long it takes to build it back
Pretty sure he has been there for a couple weeks now...Sorry if this has been posted.....
When will Mayer be on campus working out?
He has been on campus for about three weeks and doing some work. Has been limited by some back issues. All players are now on break for a couple of weeks.Sorry if this has been posted.....

Thanks, that is good to know. It's not that I'm not trying but lately it is hard to know if I'm tired because of my 4 year old or I'm tired and I have a 4 year oldSorry to hear that. As others have noted, he is there, but the mullet unfortunately hasnāt arrived yet.Sorry if this has been posted.....

Don't sweat it. You've been in a rough time of life. Having been there a while ago, it's cause-and-effect from that baby haze. If you're not sleeping and eating regularly, you can't train. It doesn't work. The good news is that you're fairly well out of the physically-brutal stage of child-rearing, and you've got a few years before entering the three-dimensional chess / UFC stage. Use that time well, my friend! Thanks, that is good to know. It's not that I'm not trying but lately it is hard to know if I'm tired because of my 4 year old or I'm tired and I have a 4 year old
BU said he was on campus July 11. IIRC, I saw a photo of him via the Board working out with the team during late July.Sorry if this has been posted.....

The mullet is and shall remain a state of mind.As others have noted, he is there, but the mullet unfortunately hasnāt arrived yet.
Darn, hate to hear back issues on Mayer this early. Those things tend to escalate and get worse. He has been on campus for about three weeks and doing some work. Has been limited by some back issues. All players are now on break for a couple of weeks.
Yeah, but I think the mullet was weighing him down.Darn, hate to hear back issues on Mayer this early. Those things tend to escalate and get worse.
I'd make a quip about the torque on his cervical spine, but having had a herniated disc several years ago, and back problems intermittently earlier in life, I just wince when I read "limited by some back issues."Yeah, but I think the mullet was weighing him down.
