Lots of people - including me. I think we are more like the #30-35 team in the nation and not so much like 15-20
I think an optimistic view is too 25, higher if everyone gels together and stays healthy.

Lower if we have the same tire fire as last year in terms of locker room chemistry.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall in practice to just see if the guys like each other haha

From the rule changes.
  • Anytime the ball hits the rim and the offense retains possession in the front court, the shot clock will reset to 20 seconds.
I thought that this was currently the rule. They aren't saying that if there are 26 seconds on the clock and the ball hits the rim the clock will drop to 20 seconds are they? It's not clicking for me, what is the change? Are they saying that it doesn't have to be a shot? If it just randomly hits the rim the clock resets?

Under the previous rule refs had to decide whether it was actually a shot versus say an alley oop pass that hit the rim or a deflection. And only if they deemed it a shot attempt would the clock reset to 20. Now if the ball hits the rim for any reason and the offense gets it back goes back to :20.

I know I am a year older but I dont remember Dainja being a problem on defense guarding his man considering he was technically a freshman... Coleman was the one who could not guard other teams bigs. No one in the league was stopping TJD or Eddy.. My memory thinks Dain played lights out against a few other bigs
Dain's biggest issue defensively is that he couldn't stay out of foul trouble. He'd be saddled with two before the 12 minute mark of the first half.

Again think some seem to really not pay attention to the actual players stats and tend to remember only what they want to. Dain played in 33 games started 21 of them last year. He logged a total of 681 minutes and committed 64 fouls. That averages out to roughly 1 foul every 10+ minutes so based on him playing an average of 20+ minutes per game he averaged less than 2 fouls per game so your statement is not correct. Now is Dain the best center in the B1G? Definitely not but his biggest weakness per BU was his lack of discipline on offense getting out of position and forcing some shots when the coaching reports specifically showed he would get trapped if he tried his moves.

Jayden Epps scores 46 points in Georgetown's first scrimmage against Wake Forrest (46 of their 81). They won 81-77. Epps was 15-24 on FGs, 6-11 on 3s, and had 4 assists.

Did I say I hated losing Epps? I sure did. He was our best ball handler, best controlled driver and bank shooter, and one or our best clutch outside and free throw shooters last year. It's relevant, since he should still be at IL and starting in this game.

I’m dying over the variety in spellings of Marcus Domask’s name per the video captions:
domas
domez
domes
though mass

—and by far the best—
Mark is still mashed

I dont care how talented a guy is if he refuses to go back into a game after being torched by the opposing PG then sits and pouts while his team makes a comeback. I dont want him anywhere near my team. Should have been sent to the showers right then.

If he does that sh!t in public, in a televised game, imagine what it must have been like behind the scenes. Doesn't sting a bit. Good riddance.
Kids do stupid stuff sometimes, especially if they they're struggling to adapt to their environment. People from outside the program were saying he really wasn't enjoying his time here from well before that game and it also sounded like he didn't have a great relationship with Brad either. It wasn't a good look for him, but I don't know if he'd have that same reaction if he was in a different environment. Really, Jayden's one of those cases where it seems Champaign was a poor fit for him and if that's so, I can't fault him for leaving.

Yeah also Ty is the most athletic dude on the team by most accounts. So not terribly sure about DGL being eons faster.
Ty and DGL are completely different builds but I'd bet a lot that DGL has a higher vert, faster 3 cone and faster 100m dash
