I imagine it went something like this ... Especially since Fletch and Jon talk on the regular ...

Fletch says what do you think about coming down here .... Jon says absolutely, I would love to work with you and stay at a Big Ten program ...

Fletch then said hey Josh you got a minute? Josh said, sure do why don't you come on over Fletch ...

Fletch went up to Josh's office and said I’d like to hire Jon Sanderson ...

Josh said here’s a check …

Amazing! Do you know if Fletch is paying him enough for it to be worth it for him to stick around? Or is he just doing this to stay busy for a year before heading to another program?

I'm sure it's a temporary position. But even temporary great hires, are still great hires.

(I know you weren't meaning that as a criticism of the hire.)
