I realize this is just a discussion platform, but too many of you take the opinions of two or three people as fact. You live and die by their every word. The fact is they know no more then you. Nobody can know what these young men really think. I'm sure most of these young men don't know any future plans for sure. We all know what the coaches need from the transfer portal. Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Who stays and who goes could be dependent on who we pick up in the portal. Bet you knew that too. I'll make an statement to get you all excited.....Coach will bring in 2 transfer that will absolutely surprise you. And 1 who you might question but he will turn out to be very productive. That's what I'm hearing

Hmmm. Not bad. I’m hearing my wife nag at me for being to hard on my step-kids. Even though at this moment she isn’t home, it still resonates and I hear it constantly.

Sencire is a fan favorite for his energy, and rightly so. But he has enough deficiencies that he's going to get recruited over almost every year. I hope he stays to help build the culture back, but understand if he wants a bigger role somewhere else.
In essence, every player is recruited over every year. From what we have seen so far, Sencire is someone you want to be part of your program. I consider his impact thus far “value added”. Guys that understand what hard work means (Chester and Trent) impact your program beyond the statistics they produce.

Aqualung is playing as I read this. True story.
I saw Jethro Tull 5 times in concert......First time was at SIU Arena , 10 rows from the stage ......after the warm up band got done aboot 5-6 guys came out an started moving equipment around ....they were wearing long black leather coats down to the floor......

when they got done , all at once they ripped off the coats and started into their set .........me and my crew were amazed and being under the influence of mind altering substances , we started jumping around just like Ian Anderson was doing on stage hair flowing in every direction.............................What a mem.................thanks bro for triggering that positive vibe from many years ago........

I don't think there's any question that we'd really like him back.

Walkening a different path than the mindless robotic slaves to the " man ".............I really really am...................
update for all the Pink Floyd fans here...............There is buku amount of early Floyd on this youtube bundle when Roger Waters was still in the band......some of the songs I heard triggered mems that made me relive some stressful moments in my life like the time me and my bestest bud were at C-Dale in the old Merlin's bar watching REO Speedwagon and we went outside as the crowd got rowdy inside and all h*ll was breaking loose outside .....we just sat down on the sidewalk across from merlins until we heard some CLICKS and looked around and every store on that side of the street had the owners of the shops standing in their front doors with guns at the ready.....I think that was the night that the National Guard was called into C-dale but I can't be sure........We made an orderly exit STAGE LEFT and got the h*ll out of dodge............when we got in my car PF was playing on my Pioneer 8-track and calmed us down immensely.............WHEW................

Luke just confirmed he is back next year on Lon and Piper's radio show. So that is the first public confirmation (not that anyone has to confirm in public)
This is the one part of the transfer situation these days that really bothers me: no one in a fanbase is satisfied that a player is staying until they publicly say so when it should be the other way around. People are just so shell shocked over the recent transfer bonanza.

I'll go ahead and announce I'm sticking around the Loyalty program for another year (unless Dan pulls my membership).

should we be expecting news on non conference games next year? I sure hope we have more marquee non conference games besides Tennessee (and presumably Mizzou).

As I recall (and at my age that is very suspect) when I saw them in the Assembly Hall something similar to that happened, except it was just some guy we assumed was a roadie on a stool tuning a guitar, which then turned out to be Ian Anderson. It was one of the very most enjoyable concerts I every attended. The Stones with BB King as the opening act was pretty amazing too. (i get flashbacks whenever they show the exterior of what is still the Assembly Hall to me.)
