I don’t think Sencire is getting enough love on this board. I thought he outplayed his ranking this year. Solid defense, decent shooting percentage. Definitely improved offensively as the year progressed. Eventually learned how to slam dunk a basketball. Is he all big ten next year? No. Could he be as a senior? I think so.

Tylor Perry C-USA Player of the year, NIT MVP, plus he can really shoot it at 41% from 3 taking over 14 3s a game! Also he is 87% from the line. He hits some wild shots like Plummer did and can drive the ball. He gets to the line 5x a game. I wonder if we have reached out. I see Texas, Tennessee, and others have. He would be very high on my wish list. Maybe the top of it.

Ty strikes me as the kinda dude who doesn’t need to post “I’m coming back” for all of us to get it. I hope I’m right, and if so, it makes me like the dude even more. Just need guys that go about their business.

Last time I checked Karl Anthony Towns and Willie Cauley Stein aren't signed up to play in Champaign next year. We've got no rim protector to bail a guy like that out.
Solid defense? I didn’t get to see every game so maybe it was just what I was able to see out of market, but that buggar looked like a damn demon on defense.
Gary Paton Jr. didn't want the nickname of "The Mitten". I propose it for Sencire. May he wear it with pride.

If Ty and Sencire get up 50k jump shots/3s this summer I think we are in business.
I don’t disagree with you. They have the track record. However, I think we all thought the same about our last two (three) point guards as well. I’d be more optimistic about these transfers than the last three though.
